Message from the Rev Jonathan Evans vicar of St Nicholas.

As the vicar of St Nicholas Church I am pleased to welcome you. We are a church of very ordinary people who believe in an extraordinary God. Our aim is summed up in a simple phrase “God’s People For God’s World”. We are an outward looking church, serving in our local community and beyond.

We are part of the Church of England, serving the Beckside, Grovehill, Swinemoor and Model
Farm areas of Beverley.

We believe that the Christian Faith is for all people, regardless of age, background or ability.

We believe that the church is first and foremost a community with a common aim to worship the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to serve God and one another.
