Regular Activities

Community Connect

takes place on Tuesday afternoons from 2pm. It's a drop-in for anyone who would appreciate meeting up with other people in a friendly environment. Once a month we watch a film (see below)

Each session always has hot drinks, biscuits and cake available. There are games and activities, and occasionally we have a visiting speaker or a presentation of general interest.

This picture opposite is of a special afternoon tea we shared a little while ago.

Community Connect Movie Afternoon

Community Connect also now has a monthly special, starting earlier with soup and a roll available from 1.00pm and showing a film from 1-30pm.

Our licence doesn't allow us to advertise the title of the film in advance online, but we can tell you at Connect or you can ring the office. No booking required.

Family Film Night

Held in the hall on the first Friday of the month, we show a movie suitable for all ages in our main hall. Our licence doesn't permit us to publicise the title in advance, but Disney/Pixar movies and similar are an example of what we may show on the big screen.

Admission to the film itself is free, but there is a small charge for food if required (pizza and chips).

Please notify the office of any dietary requirements on stnicksoffice@gmail.com

Booking is essential. Click here to reserve your spot.

Sometimes we find ourselves discussing current affairs, or a even a chat about how what faith means during uncertain times? You are welcome at pints of view for an informal chat and catch up having a beer with friends at a local pub.

Next dates: 24 April, 22 May, 12 June and 17 July. Venues tbc

If pints aren't your thing, we also have a monthly men's breakfast at the Foresters Arms, Beckside on a Saturday once a month.
