Church Services
St Nicholas' Services
Worship in the church building:
First Sunday in the month
10.00am Sunday Celebration - an informal communion for all ages.
Sunday Celebration starts with a short all-age service (about 45 mins). We then break for refreshments, with something to think and talk about. We then come back together for a simple celebration of communion.
Other Sundays
10.00am Holy Communion
Thursdays
9.30am Holy Communion (in St Nick's Community Centre for winter)
We have tea / coffee (and often cake!) after church after Sun and Thu services.
Messy Church
10.30am Stories, songs, prayers, crafts and food. Usually on the 2nd Saturday of the month. You can check the next date, and let us know you are coming by clicking here.
Gifts to the church can be made in cash or using our contactless device. If you wish to make an offering online, you can do so here.
Please note, there may be occasional seasonal variations, so check for updates here and on Facebook and Twitter.
We have a service archive from lockdown, which can be explored here.
Encounter
Churches in the Beverley area are working together to provide an opportunity to share in contemporary worship in an informal way. We call it Encounter, and it moves around the churches of the Deanery on the 3rd Sunday of the month. Refreshments from 7pm, worship from 7.30pm. Here are dates of services coming up:
17 November - Beverley Minster
15 December - Encounter gives way to the Churches Together Christmas Carol Service
19 Jan 2025 - Encounter gives way to a Service for the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity
17 Feb 2025 - Encounter returns to St Nicholas', Beverley
